KBC features question on Rinku Singh
In a recent episode of KBC, Amitabh Bachchan was accompanied by his son Abhishek Bachchan, co-host Saiyami Kher, and director R Balki. The film’s cast was present to promote their latest film “Ghoomer.” In a particular segment of the show, Bachchan posed a question worth INR 6.4 lakh, involving Kolkata Knight Riders’ batsman Rinku Singh.
The question presented was as follows: “Which Kolkata Knight Riders batsman hit five sixes in a row in the last over of a match in the 2023 IPL?” The provided options consisted of Andre Russell, Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, and Venkatesh Iyer.
Significantly, in a match against Gujarat Titans, Singh showcased an exceptional performance by smashing five consecutive sixes off deliveries by Yash Dayal. Through his remarkable batting display, Rinku played a pivotal role in leading his team to an unlikely victory. The 25-year-old batsman amassed a total of 48 runs from just 21 balls, guiding KKR to triumph over the Titans by a narrow margin of three wickets.

Presently, Rinku Singh is in Ireland for a three-match T20I series. He made his debut for India in the first match of the series, captained by Jasprit Bumrah. However, he did not get the chance to bat as rain halted the match in middle of the innings. The match ended with India winning by 2 runs (DLS Method).
