Cristiano Ronaldo: The star forward player, Ronaldo, has targeted Manchester United in the sit-down interview, which will be released in full over the course of two days on Wednesday and Thursday. In midst of these situations, a video has surfaced which shows Ronaldo and fernandes having a rather awkward and cold moment in the locker room. Both the players didn’t look too pleaseupon seeing each other.
Ronaldo had criticised many in an interview
The Glazers, Wayne Rooney, Ralf Rangnick, Gary Neville, Erik ten Hag, and Ralf Rangnick are just a few of the persons who Ronaldo has criticised in the little clips that have so far been made public.
As a result, Ronaldo is extremely unlikely to ever play for United again, with Chelsea apparently one of the teams who could make a move for him in January. Back in the summer, the Blues also made known their desire to sign the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
The commencement of the winter break for the Qatar World Cup will give those in charge at United more time to cope with the aftermath from the interview, which is good. The official 26-man squad for Fernando Santos’ 2022 World Cup team includes both Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernandes‘ cold moment
And on Monday, when Fernandes joined the Portugal team, it seemed like they had an awkward conversation in the locker room. The two shook hands, but Crisitiano Ronaldo’s expression suggested there may not have been all that was well. Watch the video:
Given the importance of Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernandes to Portugal’s World Cup hopes, fans will be hoping there is no bitterness there. The group that the Euro 2016 champions were placed in is incredibly difficult and they have never previously won the competition. Portugal will need to defeat Uruguay, South Korea, and Ghana if they want to advance to the knockout stages.
The European nation is undoubtedly the favourite to advance, but none of those games appear simple on paper. More so now that the Ronaldo controversy surrounds the team.
