MS Dhoni: After the last group stage match of Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024, everyone is asking the same thing. Whether this will be their Captain Cool’s last season or will he come back for one more season?
If you ask CSK management and every supporter you want him to stay. If not as a player then in any other role, but you would like him to stay connected with Chennai Super Kings in some sort of way.
A few days ago, a source revealed that Dhoni has not made any decision about his future yet. He is set to undergo muscle tear surgery in London in a few months and will decide his future after that.
A new development in the situation has come out as CSK owner Kasi Viswanathan stated that he is very hopeful their former skipper will return next season.
MS Dhoni Next Season?
In a video on CSK’s official YouTube channel, CSK owner Kasi Viswanathan stated what he thinks about Dhoni’s situation and what he desires. He is hopeful for his return but won’t force him in any way and the decision is on him completely.
He stated “I do not know,” It is a question that only MS can answer. The question for us, we have always respected the decisions taken by MS, we have left it to him.
His Own Decision!
“As all of you know, he has always taken his decisions and announced them at the appropriate time. We do expect that we will get a decision as and when he decides. But we are very, very hopeful that he will be available for CSK next year. That is the view and expectations of the fans and mine.”
