CSK vs DC IPL 2023: In an IPL 2023 showdown on Wednesday, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are facing off against David Warner’s Delhi Capitals at the renowned MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk. Known as the fortress of CSK, the stadium once again showcased its reputation as MS Dhoni, the CSK captain, unleashed his power by hitting two sixes off Khaleel Ahmed in the 19th over.
MS Dhoni grooves in style
With the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) struggling at a total of 139 runs by the 18th over, the game took a remarkable turn when MS Dhoni unleashed his batting prowess in the 19th over. Dhoni’s explosive shots proved to be a game-changer as he single-handedly propelled CSK’s score, smashing two sixes and a boundary to contribute 21 runs in that crucial over.
The third ball went for a six at the deep wicket, which turned the crowd wild as it was the first shot from Dhoni’s bat. The next ball went for wide as it was way too far from the line. However, on the fourth legal delivery, he slammed a boundary over the third man. The fifth ball gave away two runs, while, Dhoni smashed another maximum on the last ball.
