CSK vs KKR IPL 2023

CSK vs KKR IPL 2023: Ajinkya Rahane has transformed himself into a new player since joining the Chennai Super Kings under the leadership of MS Dhoni. In his first match with the team on April 9th, he managed to score a fifty in just 19 balls. On Sunday, the veteran Indian batsman once again showcased his skills, scoring another impressive half-century to put CSK in a commanding position against KKR.

Ajinkya Rahane’s turnaround in IPL

Against his former team, Ajinkya Rahane played brilliant innings of 71 runs off just 29 balls, helping CSK to post a mammoth total of 235/4 in 20 overs at Eden Gardens. In recent IPL seasons, Rahane has struggled to find his form, and even when he did perform well, his strike rate was not up to the mark. This led to him being dropped from the captaincy position at RR, and later being traded to Delhi Capitals.

However, at DC he was mostly on the sidelines and didn’t get many chances to play. Last year, he got an opportunity to play for KKR, but unfortunately, things didn’t work out for him there either, resulting in him being dropped from the playing XI.

In an outstanding inning today, Ajinkya Rahane hit 6 fours and 5 sixes to score 71 runs off just 29 balls. His spectacular performance was crucial in helping CSK to post a mammoth score of 235 in the first innings. The way Rahane has turned his form around in the IPL is remarkable, and it is rare to see such a drastic transformation for a player in this league. Given his recent performances, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him make a comeback to the Indian national team.
