CSK vs LSG IPL 2023: MS Dhoni is having a great time with the bat in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL). In CSK’s first game, he scored 14* runs off 7 balls with one four and a six. In today’s match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), he smashed two sixes off just three balls, scoring 12 runs in total. He came in to bat at number 8 in the final over and hit the first two balls for sixes off Mark Wood, one over third man and another over deep square leg. These shots got him to cross the milestone of scoring 5000 runs in IPL. His quick cameo helped CSK set a competitive total on the board.

Crowd turns wild with MSD sixes

In the last over of the match, MS Dhoni took everyone’s attention. He went to bat after Ravindra Jadeja was dismissed in the 20th over, and he hit two very big sixes right away off Mark Wood. For the first six, Mark Wood bowled a ball that was short and wide, which gave Dhoni the opportunity to hit it hard over the third man, and he hit it with a lot of power to get a six.

The second six was even more impressive, as Wood bowled a good delivery that was short and outside the off-stump, but Dhoni hit it over square leg for his second consecutive six. This shot was all about Dhoni’s strength and power.

Dhoni is a favourite of the crowd, and he gave them something to cheer about with those two sixes. In a match where there were many great shots, those two sixes got the biggest cheer from the crowd. Those two sixes helped CSK finish their innings with a strong performance. In the previous game as well, Dhoni had played an important role in the final over.
