CSK vs RR IPL 2023: During the exciting game between CSK and RR today, a fascinating incident occurred between Indian cricketers Ashwin and Rahane, which drew the crowd’s attention. While Ashwin, the spinner, was preparing to bowl, he suddenly stopped, prompting the CSK batter Rahane to walk away, claiming it was a dead ball. Nevertheless, what took place next is an absolute delight for any cricket enthusiast.
The Rahane and Ashwin battle
RR managed to post 175 runs in 20 overs despite the regular fall of wickets. However, CSK too did not have a great start as they also lost opener Ruturaj Gaikwad (8 off 10) cheaply. Rahane and Conway then built on the innings from thereon. After 5 overs, CSK had scored 35 runs with a loss of one wicket. Ashwin was called upon by the skipper to throw the next over.
The first ball went for two runs. However, on the second ball, Ashwin halted for a moment and stopped his action just when he was about to throw the ball. This probably irked the batter, Rahane. Then, Ashwin came into bowl once again but as soon as he was about to throw the ball, this time Rahane backed off and the crowd went frenzy. It all came down as one of a silent clash between the star players. However, Ashwin then threw the ball which went for the dot eventually.
Following the short break, the match resumed ocnce again, and on the very next delivery from Ashwin, Rahane smashed a huge six, demonstrating that he wasn’t going to shy away from the competition and putting Ashwin in his place.
