David Miller: Prior to the second One-Day International between India and South Africa on Sunday in Ranchi, David Miller used his social media platforms to share a sad piece of news. At the tender age of 10, Ane, one of Miller’s little fans, lost her battle with cancer and passed away.
Along with a touching tribute on Twitter, Miller shared a video of the adorable “little rockstar” on Instagram. In a lengthy letter to Ane, he expressed his regret for losing her and provided details about the young girl.
“Going to miss you so much my skut! The biggest heart I have ever known. You took fighting to a different level. Always incredibly positive and a smile on your face. A cheeky and mischievious side to you. You embraced every person and every challenge in your journey. You taught me so much about cherishing every single moment in life. I feel humbled to have walked a journey with you. I love you so much. RIP” Miller wrote on his Instagram story.
Miller went on to share a reel with the adorable child and show his gratitude.
“RIP, you tiny rock star. Love you forever, “read the caption of the picture.

Despite much argument, many individuals believed Ane to be Miller’s daughter. Due to this, there was some question as to whether the Proteas batsmen would play in the second ODI in Ranchi. However, because neither Miller nor Cricket South Africa issued a remark on the subject, it is likely that he will play in the important game.
Temba Bavuma’s team is now up 1-0 in the series after defeating the hosts by nine runs in the first game.
