David Warner: A rather bizarre and hilarious incident happened with Australian opener David Warner when he was traveling with his family to attend Miley Cyrus’ mother’s wedding.

Warner’s wife, Candice Warner narrated the incident during a podcast with Triple M Cricket. Warner was stopped by the security team because of the full body scan showing a hotspot on Warner’s private parts.

The incident left the couple shocked and confused while everyone in the airport was laughing. As Warner got cleared without any objections, the couple can now also look back at the incident as a funny one.

David Warner Hotspot Detection

Candice stated that a beep was heard on the initial check. So the security team had to do a full body check and ushered Warner to the full body scanner. As the left-handed batsman put his hands up, the scanner beeped once again.

One of the security in charge came to Warner and stated that they had to sort it out. Candice then hilariously used cricket slang and stated that the scanner was showing a hotspot on his husband’s private part.

The security team rushed Warner in for a detailed security check while Candice was shocked and worried. The crowd at the airport was laughing and when the security clearance came clean, the couple had a laugh as well.

Mission ODI World Cup 2023

David Warner has been included in the preliminary Australia squad for the ODI World Cup 2023. He will leave for South Africa very soon for the ODI series and will travel to India after that for an ODI series right before the World Cup.

With injuries plaguing Australia’s side, Warner has to become the cornerstone of the team. In case Steve Smith and Pat Cummins do not get fit on time.
