Rishabh Pant cheers for DC
Rishabh Pant, the talented wicketkeeper-batsman, was seen in the stands at the Arun Jaitley Stadium during the Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans match, even though he is not part of the IPL 2023 squad. It was earlier reported that the team’s Head Coach, Ricky Ponting, planned to invite Pant to watch their home games, and it appears that the young cricketer has taken up the offer.
Coming to the match, Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to field first in the clash. Gujarat Titans won their opening match against CSK whereas DC are coming here after suffering a defeat from LSG. As per the sources, Rishabh Pant might not be able to play to cricket for the next 7-8 months at least. He suffered major injuries in the accident, he was reportedly on his way to meet his mother and celebrate new year in his hometown where he met with the accident on highway.
