DC vs MI IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians has suffered a major blow as Suryakumar Yadav sustained an injury while trying to catch the ball against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley stadium on Tuesday. The ball hit him straight on the face, leaving him injured. The shot eventually went for a six while Surya appeared to look troubled.

The incident happened during the 17th over when Axar Patel hit the ball, which appeared to be an easy catch. Suryakumar seemed to have delayed closing his fists to catch the ball, and it may have been lost in the lights. The ball went straight to his face, leaving him completely injured.
The ball ended up being a six, and Suryakumar was quickly assisted by the medical team and taken out of the ground. As of now, there is no official update regarding the extent of his injury. It remains to be seen whether Surya will take to the crease or not, but it is highly likely that he will. Despite his recent poor form, he would surely want to make a comeback in this game and turn his fortunes around.
