DC vs MI IPL 2023: At the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the Delhi Capitals led by David Warner are up against the Mumbai Indians led by Rohit Sharma, as they strive to register their maiden victory in the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The home team began their innings and made a promising start, but unfortunately, Prithvi Shaw was dismissed after a few decent overs. His dismissal has also angered fans as they believe the shot was completely nontechnical and could have been better.
Prithvi Shaw dimssed after brisk start
Hrithik Shokeen proved to be too much for Prithvi Shaw as he was once again unable to demonstrate his potential and was sent back to the pavilion in the fourth over after scoring 15 runs off 10 balls. Despite Shaw’s promising start, he was unable to sustain his momentum and his innings came to an abrupt halt.
Throughout his brief knock, he slammed three boundaries. After few initial hits, fans were expecting him to continue in the run but he once again faltered as a disappointing season continues for him.He opted for a slogsweep and tried to loft the ball but failed to connect the ball. Thus, Cameron Green, who was standing at the square leg caught the ball with ease and he was dismissed.
