DC vs PBKS IPL 2023: The second double header of the day is currently underway between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings at Arun Jaitley Stadium. David Warner opted to field first after winning the toss. They had a good start to their bowling attack as they managed to dismiss the opposition skipper Shikhar in just the second over.
Ishant Sharma takes revenge against Dhawan
By the end of the first over, Punjab Kings notched up just 4 runs, however, they did not lose any wickets in it. Ishant Sharma was then brought in by skipper David Warner to provide some early breakthroughs and flatter Punjab at the start itself. However, his over began on a poor note as Shikhar slammed a six towards long on the first ball itself.
Ishant Sharma, then, had the last laugh as on the second ball, Shikhar tried to go big once again but filed in his effort. The delivery came at a fuller length and Shikhar mistimed it to Rille Rossouw at deep backward square leg. Ishant and Warner seemed completely pumped up after the dismissal as they had gotten a big wicket. This is also the 100th IPL match for Ishant.
