T. Natarajan is the 11th left-arm fast bowler to play India in the history of 990 ODI matches in India. Natarajan made his debut in international cricket on Wednesday, the third and final ODI of the series being played against Australia in Canberra.
So far, there is a total of 11 left-handed fast bowlers, including Natarajan, for India which included Karsan Ghavri, Rudra Pratap Singh (1986), Rashid Patel, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Irfan Pathan, Rudra Pratap Singh (2005-11), Jaydev Unadkat, Barinder Singh Saran, Khaleel Ahmed and others are left-arm fast bowlers.
Karsan Ghavri, Zaheer, Irfan, Nehra, and RP Singh (2005-11) are among those bowlers who have made their international debut. Among them, only Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Kasaran Ghavri, Irfan Pathan, and RP Singh (2005-11) were able to show special shine.
Natarajan also did not disappoint in his first debut match and gave Team India the first success. Natarajan sent back the pavilion to a personal score of 7 runs to Marnus Labuschagne.
