Was Molested As A Child
In the interview, Alli revealed that he was molested as a child at the age of six. And after that, he was sent to Africa for getting disciplined. It was not over yet, he started smoking there and was forced to sell drugs.
He also revealed that when he was 11 years old he was hung off a bridge by a man. Things got better when he was adopted by a wonderful family. The English star further revealed that he went on a spiral once again a few weeks ago.
He revealed that he enrolled himself in rehab for six weeks for his overreliance on sleeping pills. “It’s been going on for a long time without me realizing it, I was doing to numb the feelings I had. I didn’t realize I was doing it for that purpose.” The talisman stated.
Wanted To Retire At 24
Another shocking confession that Dele Alli made was that he considered retiring during his prime days. When he was only 24 years old. This happened when Jose Mourinho stopped playing him in the Spurs squad.
