A government school in Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar area wil be renamed after its alumnus Olympic medal winner Ravi Dahiya. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia made this announcement on Tuesday.

“Olympic medal winner Ravi Dahiya was today welcomed at his school in Adarsh Nagar. It was an emotional moment for his teachers. The government has decided that the school will now be named as Ravi Dahiya Bal Vidyalaya,” Sisodia tweeted in Hindi.
Dahiya is just the second Indian after Sushil Kumar to win an Olympic silver medal in wrestling. This was his first appearence at the Games and the young wrestler has done it all for himself and the country.
