Previously, Dhanashree had shared praise for Chahal when he secured a deal with the English county team, Kent. Chahal’s arrangement with Kent came after he was not included in the Indian squad for both the ongoing Asia Cup and the forthcoming ODI World Cup. Notably, he will be the second Indian player to represent Kent, following seamer Arshdeep Singh, who played in five matches for the team in June-July and took 13 wickets.
