Harry Brook smashes five sixes in an over

On the first day of the two-day fixture, Harry Brook hit five consecutive sixes in an over against Kiwi spinner, Adithya Ashok. Brook dominated the off-spinner, taking his score from Ashok’s over to 86* off just 62 balls, as England continued their aggressive style under coach Brendon McCullum.

The incredible string of sixes came in the 36th over of England’s first innings. Brook took on the loopy off-spin of Ashok, unleashing his full potential and sending the spinner’s deliveries soaring over the boundary. Unfortunately, footage of the first four sixes was unavailable, but the fifth was captured on camera, showing Brook advancing down the pitch and smashing the ball over long-on.
