ENG vs PAK: Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan, the two openers, effectively neutralised the England danger as Pakistan made a strong start to their chase, lowering the score down to under 300 before lunch. Rizwan had a difficult task at hand as he opened in place of an injured Imam ul Haq.
James Anderson does his magic again
Despite this, he was able to stay for 38 deliveries and score 28 balls until lunch before James Anderson completely floored him. And the delivery was so flawless that even the commentators were in awe of the veteran bowler. Following lunch, Anderson started the game for England and after just four deliveries, he struck a key wicket.
A seam-up delivery that angled into the batter was Anderson’s fifth pitch. When the ball was about to hit the top of the off, Rizwan, who was outside the off stump line, prepared to field the ball. However, the ball only just managed to miss the bat’s edge. Rizwan was completely taken aback by the ball. He remained on pitch for a few moment while gazing at Anderson. The English great gave a complete shock to him. Having scored 30 off 43 balls, Rizwan then approached Shafique, spoke with him briefly, then left while smiling sarcastically.

Will Pakistan be able to pull off the victory
After England gave them a target of 355, it was the first wicket to go for Pakistan on Day 3. On the third morning, with England at 202 for 5, Ben Stokes and Harry Brooks put on a century stand at the sixth wicket. They then continued to frustrate the home team by hammering sixes and boundaries. He was eventually out for 41, and after Abrar removed Ollie Robinson from the bowling attack in the following over, the bottom order for England started to fall apart. As of writing this, Pakistan requires 208 runs.
