ENG vs PAK: On Sunday, Harry Brook surpassed all previous English run scorers in Tests played in Pakistan. The young player accomplished the feat during the third and final Test of the series at Karachi’s National Stadium. Brook outperformed David Gower, who in 1984 amassed 449 runs from three matches at an average of 112.25 with two century and a top score of an unbeaten 173.

At tea on Day 2 of the Karachi Test, Brook had amassed 462 runs from five innings at an average of 115.50, three hundreds, and a maximum score of 153 in the first Test at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium.
With the help of eight fours and three sixes, Brook scored 108 runs at Tea on the second day off 141 balls. During the second session of the day 2, he brought up his century off 133 balls. In Pakistan, Brook made history by becoming the first English player to reach three Test hundreds. There were two hundreds each for David Gower and Dennis Amiss. However, he was later dismissed after scoring 111 of 150 balls.
England looking to cleansweep the series
At Tea on the second day, Brook assisted England in taking the lead. He It should go without saying that Brook has been in top form in the recent days.
On the strength of Babar Azam’s 78 and Salman Agha’s 56 earlier, Pakistan was dismissed for 304 in 79 overs. Four wickets for 140 runs were taken by Jack Leach. Rehan Ahmed, who made his England Test debut at the age of 19, also claimed the scalps of Faheem Ashraf and Saud Shakeel. At the time of writing this, England are 265/7 and trailing behind by 39 runs with Ben Foakes batting on 49* and Ollie Robinson at 0*.
