England has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the first T20 international match against the England. Indian team has rested vice-captain Rohit Sharma for this game and the captain said he has to wait for his chance for couple of more games.
Team India is going with the left-hand right-hand combination of KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan at the top order. Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya will continue with their spot at No. 4, 5 and 6 respectively.
Washington Sundar who has been brilliant with his all-round skill in the recent past in the longest format of the game has also been included in this T20 match against England.
