F1 British Grand Prix: Max Verstappen continues his dominance to secure the third title of his career. The hometown boy was cheered at every corner at every turn and before anyone realized he was there to lift the trophy.
For anyone that had any doubts regarding Max Verstappen was left silent when he took the lead in the 4th lap only. After that, it was Max’s show and the race would have been really boring if it was not for Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris.
The battle between Lando Norris and his childhood hero Lewis Hamilton was a sight to see. The crowd was enchanted by their race and none of them were able to keep their eyes off them. To summarize in one word, the crowd behind them was electric.
A Dominant Victory
It was not your classic race where Verstappen had to work hard. He took the lead in the 4th lap and after that, he was never left behind. Not even when Hamilton and Norris were right behind him after the pit stop.
While Verstappen was finishing the lead with a massive lead, the crowd’s eyes were stuck on the tussle behind him. Hamilton and Norris were neck to neck with each other till the very end.
One crucial decision taken by Norris changed the race as he came out victorious against his idol. Even Verstappen stated that this is the most exciting time we have ever seen in F1 racing.
Hamilton Considering Retirement?
Lewis Hamilton is a legend in his own right. The seven-time world champion is one of the best drivers this sport has ever seen. And he will be out of contract by the end of the year. Amidst the speculations, the British racer gave important updates regarding his future.
Many reports came out that the racer was seeking retirement, but Hamilton has cleared that up. He stated that he wants to continue his F1 career for at least 5 more years. He also gave the green light to him renewing with Ferrari soon.
