IPL 2023: The highly anticipated 16th season of the Indian Premier League is ready to come with a bang on 31st of March. As the excitement and thrill were building on fans, a new IPL 2023 Promo Video has been launched by Star Sports today. The video features LSG captain KL Rahul, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya, the skipper of Gujarat Titans, who won the last edition.
IPL 2023 Promo launched
The promo was launched with much fanfare. Earlier, several videos were released on social media from promo shoots citing as leak, however, they were later verified and found that the company was actually building up the hype ahead the promo launch. The promo video features crowd standing close to posters of different skippers. The video then shows those lifeless posters turning into real players.
However, this promo includes only 3 captains as mentioned above i.e. KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya. It is interesting to see when more promos will be launched with other skippers. There are ten teams in IPL who will clash from 31st March to 28th May for the iconic trophy. This season is already special for the fans as teams will be returning to their home grounds too.

The first match will be played between Gujarat Giants and Chennai Super Kings. IPL will be broadcasted on Star Sports network for live coverage. Many players have returned to their base camps and have started practising for the upcoming tournament.
