This technical glitch prompted fans to express their frustration on social media platforms, with many criticizing the online ticket platform for its inadequate service.

Remarkably, tickets for the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match were completely sold out within a mere 2.5 hours of being made available for purchase. The clash between the Men in Blue and their arch-rivals Pakistan is scheduled to unfold during the group stage of the prestigious tournament. This momentous match is set to take place at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 14th October. However, the ticket booking process has turned out to be frustrating for fans as the screen says more than 6 hours of waiting time or automatic cancellations.
This year marks India’s inaugural hosting of the ODI World Cup on an exclusive basis. Previously, India had co-hosted the event in collaboration with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in 1987, 1996, and 2011. The competition’s opening match is scheduled for October 5, signifying the commencement of the tournament.
BookMyShow has faced similar challenges in the past, failing to deliver a seamless service to customers. On the initial day of ticket sales, which was August 25, the platform encountered issues as fans attempted to purchase tickets for non-India matches, including warm-up matches. However, a more significant occurrence transpired on Tuesday, as the situation expanded when tickets for the India vs Pakistan match were being sold, thereby magnifying the scale of the technical difficulties.
