Australia captain Aaron Finch has praised the entire team including David Warner, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell after beating India in the first ODI on Friday. Australia won the toss and scored 374 runs for the loss of six wickets in 50 overs.
Finch himself scored a century and scored 114 runs. Smith scored 105 off 66 balls, Warner scored 69 off 76 balls and Maxwell scored 45 off 19 balls.
India were able to score 308 runs at the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs and lost the match by 66 runs. After the match Finch said, “In the middle overs I was having trouble timing the ball. I took some risks that worked. We were not together as a team. Half the team was quarantine and half the team was SCG I was training. We did not try to target a certain player. “
