He further stated that Mbappe is made for English football. Even though Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid, he would be amazing in Premier League. Djibril Cissé further stated that to see Mbappe at Anfield would be wonderful.
If Mbappe decides to join Liverpool, he would have to wait one more season at PSG. Liverpool is not actively looking to bolster their attack line. But they will be on the lookout for a forward next season to find a replacement for Mo Salah. And if Mbappe stays in PSG for this season, Liverpool can sign him for free next season. The Reds are looking for ways to bolster their midfield and defense this season.
Real Madrid Eyes Liverpool Legend as Mbappe’s Backup
Real Madrid are in dire need of a forward. The hole that Benzema left in their attacking front is big. Mbappe might be the prime target of Real Madrid, but they still need a forward that can play from central areas.
Mbappe lacks in the front, so Real is interested in Liverpool legend Roberto Firmino. The 35-year-old Brazilian just finished his career at Liverpool and is a free agent in the market. This can be a perfect short-term solution for Real Madrid till they find another suitable profile.
