WWE: Former NWA champion Nick Aldis has come out and slammed NWA over the exit debacle that both these parties had. Aldis was the face of the new NWA when Billy Corgan took over the company.

The English wrestler became the show’s main star and was the center of attention for the promotion. His charisma and wrestling ability rejuvenated NWA to a certain point, but the scenes turned ugly when the wrestler decided to leave the promotion in 2021.

It is also rumored that Nick Aldis was again seen backstage in RAW after Summerslam, and the chances of him joining the company are more than ever. But he might be joining World Wrestling Federation in a different role than expected.

Felt Betrayed By NWA

In Aldis’s own words on K100 with Konnan, the star opened up about his messy exit from the company. He also stated that he felt betrayed by Pat Kenney, the Director of Talent for NWA.

The former TNA star stated that he don’t want to go deep into the past. But stated that Pat Kenney showed his true colors at his exit. According to Aldis, the company still owes him money, and he has made peace with the fact that will never come.

“I don’t want to air dirty laundry laundry, but [Pat Kenney] showed his true colors with my exit from NWA. I don’t want to get into it too much, but they owe me money, and it’s probably never gonna come. Pat betrayed me, and I’ll leave it at that.” The star stated.

WWE Inbound?

Although Aldis has always given mixed answers on whether he will join WWE, it looks like a matter of time. The former NWA champion will be a producer for WWE, which kills the chances of him being an on-screen character.

But you can never say ‘No’ in wrestling, as anything can happen. And if WWE secures the signing, it will be a huge deal.
