The way he has changed his game in such a later stage of his career has been commendable. He has left everyone speechless and in awe of this adaptability where he just smacks everyone around.
This change in the demeanor of the skipper has also allowed other Indian batters to play more freely and take risks. This new Indian team under Hitman is exciting even after the series loss against Sri Lanka. And it has only been possible because of Sharma’s batting style.
‘Best Batter In The World’
Well, it looks like he has made several fans of himself across the border as well. Former Pakistan pacer, Mohammad Zahid opened up about his love of the Indian skipper and how big of a player Rohit is.
In a recent interview, Zahid stated “Rohit Sharma is the best batter in the world at the moment. He plays fast bowlers so well. I have never seen him getting bogged down against fast bowling. He is so gifted, picks the length early.”
Being a fast bowler himself, Zahid knows how talented the 37-year-old really is. And the way he is making batting look easy is just phenomenal.

Zahid did not stop there and went further ahead stating that Rohit is even better than Virat Kohli. He acknowledged Kohli’s exceptional talent but believes that Rohit currently stands ahead of him.
He stated “Rohit Sharma is better than Virat Kohli. I know Virat is class apart, but Rohit is ahead of him. For me, Rohit is the best batter in the world at the moment. He plays fearlessly against the pacers like Inzamam-ul-Haq used to do.”
