Holi 2023: Indian cricketers marked the festive occasion of Holi with great zeal and enthusiasm, ahead of the fourth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia in Ahmedabad on Thursday. BCCI shared more photos and videos from their celebration today, while Yuzi Chahal also showed a glimpse of his celebration with other players in NCA, Bangalore.

Several members of the team, including Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill, shared photos from their celebrations on social media platforms. Shubman Gill, for instance, posted a video on Instagram showcasing snippets from the festivities that took place on the team bus. The video showed Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and other team members drenched in colours, immersed in the joy of the festival.
Meanwhile, star bowler Yuzvendra Chahal also shared some pics from the National Cricket Academy Bangalore where he celebrated Holi along with other players such as Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik. Taking to Twitter, BCCI also shared a video of how team India broke into celebrating Holi before entering the bus. A photo also went viral on social media that showed skipper Rohit applying colours to Virat Kohli’s face.

Despite suffering a disappointing loss to Australia in the third Test, led by Rohit Sharma, the Indian team currently leads the series 2-1. The upcoming fourth Test in Ahmedabad holds crucial significance for the team, as a victory would secure their spot in the World Test Championship final. The final is scheduled to take place between June 7-11 at The Oval.
