This development serves as a significant boost for JioCinema, which has experienced a decline in subscribers since the conclusion of IPL 2023. A senior executive of the company was stated saying, “We are working on various arrangements for the series. While the matches will be available on FanCode, we may also share the content with a couple of other platforms, both linear and digital.”

In addition, the series will be televised live on DD Sports, as Dream Sports engages in discussions with Doordarshan for TV broadcast rights. During the previous India tour of West Indies, the matches were broadcasted live on DD Sports.

Following the anticipated postponement of the Afghanistan series, Rohit Sharma and the Indian cricket team are slated for a month-long break prior to the Windies tour. Although the dates are still being finalized, Cricket West Indies has proposed a start date of July 12 for the first Test. The tour will conclude in Florida, USA, where two T20 matches are scheduled to take place.
