Lucknow Super Giants have only themselves to blame for their 14-run defeat in the Eliminator to Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday.
The questions were raised on LSG’s approach in the chase where they palyed a total of 43 dot balls, catches they dropped and team selection.
Throughout the match, LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir’s reaction was watchable.
Gambhir is a passionate leader on and off the pitch and that was visible in his reactions.
The former KKR captain and India opening batter took to Instagram after the defeat and wrote an emotional post
“Hard luck today but a great tournament for our new team. We’ll come back stronger….Until we meet again! @lucknowsupergiants,” Gambhir wrote on Instagram.
RCB will face RR in the Qualifiers 2 and the winners will face GT in the finals.
