GT vs KKR IPL 2023: In the first doubleheader today, Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders are clashing at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Regular skipper Hardik Pandya was rested and Rashid Khan took over the team for today’s match. He won the toss and opted to bat first in the highly anticipated match. However, a catch by KKR player N Jagadessan is getting immensely viral on social media.
N Jagadeesan pulls off a stunner
Gujarat Titans’ batter had a fair start in the match. After 4 overs, they had scored 31 runs without any loss of wicket, it appeared that the team would go on to score big since both the openers, Saha and Gill looked in great touch. However, then entered Sunil Narine and he dismissed Saha just on the second ball through his spin web.
Saha had managed to score 2 runs on the first ball, however, just on the next ball, Sunil bowled wide-ish length on stumps. Saha tried to hit the ball powerfully but it didn’t connect with the bat smoothly. At first, it looked as if the ball would end in no man’s land but N Jagadeesan who was standing at mid-wicket ran on the back direction and pulled a stunning catch. Video of that catch is getting viral across the internet.
