Rain forced a change in the coin toss time; it was now at 7:45 PM instead of the match’s scheduled start time of 8 PM. Both sides made adjustments, with Gujarat replacing Dasun Shanaka and Darshan Nalkande with Josh Little and Sai Sudharsan and Mumbai selecting Kumar Kartikeya in favour of Hrithik Shokeen.

Gill’s Wicket Alters the Course of the Match
Picking up Gill is Akash Madhwal. Given the circumstances of the match, it was undoubtedly one of the best IPL innings ever and a supremely high-caliber innings. Tim David was the one who successfully caught him while Gill flipped the ball to the leg side. Both the innings and Gill will be remembered and honoured for a very long time.
