GT vs SRH IPL 2023: Gujarat Titans’ star batter has continued his golden patch with the bat as he slammed his first-ever IPL century against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The century came in 56 balls as he slammed five boundaries and three maximums, playing with a strike rate of 178.57. Prior to this, he had three 90+ scores in the IPL.

The century is even special as Gujarat Titans are currently eyeing a comprehensive win to seal their playoff spot. The visitors, SRH, won the toss and opt to bowl first. They had a good outing as they managed to dismiss opener Wriddhiman Saha for a three-ball duck in the last over. However, the dismissal seemed to have no effect on Gill’s batting stance.
Shubman Gill’s fifty came in 22 balls and then managed to smack his hundred soon. He had to control his pace beyond 90 runs since the wickets from the other end fell at regular intervals. He, however, continued his wrath and slammed several big hits. His knock consisted of sublime hitting and no aggressive tone.
