Harbhajan Singh furious reply to Kamran Akmal for his racist remark has resulted in an apology by the former Pakistan Wicket Keeper.

Harbhajan Singh was expectedly angry after the racist statement by former Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal went viral. The former Indian spinner was in no mood to tolerate the joke by Akmal and slammed him on social media.

During the India Vs Pakistan match in ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Akmal made a racist joke about the Sikh community when Arshdeep Singh was bowling the final over. Akmal made a controversial joke while being on the panel of ARY News.

He stated Kuch bhi ho sakta hai… 12 baj gaye hai (Anything can happen. It is already 12),” while Arshdeep was bowling the final over. The joke went viral on social media and Harbhajan took notice of the joke.

He blasted Akmal over social media and advised him to learn some history before making remarks like these. In reply, Akmal posted an apology on social media after the statement by Harbhajan.

Harbhajan Singh Slams Akmal

The Indian spinner was in no mood to show any kind of concern and completely blasted Akmal. He stated that Akmal should be ashamed of the statement and learn some history before passing a statement like this.

His post read “Lakh di laanat tere Kamraan Akhmal.. You should know the history of Sikhs before you open your filthy mouth. We Sikhs saved your mothers and sisters when they were abducted by invaders, the time invariably was 12 o’clock. Shame on you…Have some Gratitude.”

Akmal Apologizes

Kamran Akmal went to social media and immediately apologized to Harbhajan Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and the entire Sikh Community. He accepted that his statement was inappropriate and disrespectful.

He stated “I deeply regret my recent comments and sincerely apologize to @harbhajan_singh and the Sikh community. My words were inappropriate and disrespectful. I have the utmost respect for Sikhs all over the world and never intended to hurt anyone. I am truly sorry.”
