Not only that, they successively defended their bronze medal on the biggest stage and showed their strong foundation. This has made every fan hopeful for an even better performance in LA 2028.
The world-renowned mental coach Mike Horn thinks the same and was impressed by the sheer mental toughness of this team. Horn has previously worked with MS Dhoni and his team in the 2011 World Cup winning campaign.
He was also part of Kolkata Knight Riders’ 2014 IPL victory and Germany’s 2014 World Cup triumph. So, when a person like him states something you ought to listen.
‘Gold In LA 2028’
Horn stated “The bronze they won is a reflection of their dedication, and I believe they have set a strong foundation for future success, including the possibility of going for gold in the next Olympics.
The team’s performance was exceptional, and they indeed came very close to clinching a gold medal. They showed remarkable skill, strategy, and mental toughness throughout the tournament.”
He was a little bit sad that the team was not able to clinch the gold. But also stated that this bronze medal is a testament to their hard work and determination. “It’s important to recognize that winning a medal, especially at the Olympics, is an immense achievement,” Horn added.
