Asia Cup 2023: Sri Lanka had an inspired victory against Pakistan in the final Super 4 match. In an intense match, the Lankans stole the victory from Pakistan on the last delivery and qualified for the finals.
They were the defending champions and will try to defend their title against the Men In Blues. It will be an intense match as Sri Lanka were also impressive against India in the Super 4 round match.
But this also means that the fans won’t be able to see their favorite and much-awaited match once again. The majority of the fans wanted India to face Pakistan in the finals and this result was like a heartbreak for them.

An interesting stat came forward after Pakistan lost to Sri Lanka on Thursday. It shows that India and Pakistan have never faced each other in the finals of the Asia Cup. And it will be similar this time around as well.

But it does not take away from the fact that India vs Pakistan was the most sought-after match of Asia Cup 2023. We can see that from the fact that ACC only made one reserve day in the whole tournament and that was for this match.

Even though Pakistan did not qualify for the finals, we are in for an intense final. Sri Lanka was a tough competitor against Rohit Sharma boys in the Super 4 round. If the finals are anything like that, we are in for a treat.
