Musharraf, who was born in Delhi on August 11, 1943, was 79 years old when he died after suffering from amyloidosis, a rare disease caused by the accumulation of an abnormal protein called amyloid in various organs and tissues. According to reports, he was undergoing treatment at American Hospital Dubai when he passed away.
Before his death, Musharraf served as the President of Pakistan from 2001 to 2008, and he rose to prominence after imposing martial law in the country and assuming the role of Chief Executive in 1999.
