ICC ODI World Cup 2023: India has started its rally for glory once again. They are motivated, they are inspired, they are prepared, and most important of all they are ready for it.
The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is all set to start in less than a month and the Men In Blues are ready for it. And it looks like even Adidas is ready for it. The company launched a new jersey for the Apex tournament.
The jersey launch was marked by the launch of the ‘3 Ka Dream’ campaign. The program signifies millions of fans dream of seeing their team win a third ODI World Cup after 1983 and 2011.
ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Jersey
The first major change in the jersey is the reduction in stars. Indian blue jerseys used to have three stars signifying three World Cup wins by India. It signified 1983, 2007 T20, and 2011 World Cup.
But for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 jersey, there has been a reduction in stars. The jersey now rocks only two stars rather than three marking the two ODI World Cup victories over the years.
Adidas has also replaced the three white stripes on the shoulders with vibrant tricolors of the Indian flag. This jersey has a similar kind of vibe as the 2011 World Cup jersey we hope it brings the same glory as well.
3 Ka Dream
The jersey launch trailer also features a song sung by Indian rapper Raftaar titled ‘3 Ka Dream.’ You can see every squad member in the trailer singing the song which signifies the feelings of every Indian around the world.
The video posted by BCCI captioned the video as “1983 – the spark. 2011 – the glory, 2023 – the dream. Impossible nahi yeh sapna, #3kaDream hai apna.
