In the latest rankings, Virat Kohli’s position dropped from No. 8 to No. 9, while Rohit Sharma slipped to No. 11. Surprisingly, Quinton de Kock and Steve Smith managed to move up a place each in the rankings despite not playing ODI cricket recently.
On the other hand, Ishan Kishan and Kuldeep Yadav were rewarded for their impressive performances in the recently concluded 3-match ODI series against the West Indies. He claimed 7 wickets during the series, playing in all three ODIs. Ishan Kishan’s remarkable show with the bat resulted in a remarkable jump of 15 places, bringing him to an equal 45th position in the list for ODI batters.
At the top of the batting rankings in ODIs sits Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam, with an impressive 886 rating points. He holds a substantial lead over Rassie van der Dussen, who is in second place with more than 100 points behind him. Meanwhile, in the bowling rankings, Australia’s pacer, Josh Hazlewood, holds the prime position with 705 rating points.
