ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Nicholas Pooran was in a record-breaking mood on Tuesday when he broke records of Chris Gayle, Yuvraj Singh, and Rohit Sharma in a single inning.
He was on fire against Afghanistan for this top-of-the-table clash. Pooran made sure to leave no stone unturned as he bashed Afghanistan bowlers all around the ground. He missed his century by just two runs but did enough for the Carribeans to glide for a comfortable victory.
The onslaught started from the third over when Pooran hit Azmatullah Omarzai for 36 runs in a single over. He hit 8 sixes and finished his innings with a strike rate of 184.91.

He has also entered the list of the Top 5 batters with most sixes in T20Is. Rohit Sharma tops that chart with 194 sixes and he would like to touch the 200-sixes mark by the end of ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
