Well, it turns out, that Indian fans are not the only ones who loved Hitman’s hitting quest. Even the fans from neighboring countries love the Indian skipper. And according to him, he is grateful for that.
It makes him feel blessed to be loved so much by the fans even from a rival nation. In a recent promotional event in Dubai, Rohit Sharma opened up about how much love he gets from Pakistan fans and how delightful it is.
‘I Feel Grateful’
During the event, Hitman opened up about how Pakistani fans shower him with love and often send him heartwarming messages. He is just grateful for the love and stated how glad he was when these two sides faced each other in the 2019 World Cup in the UK.
Rohit stated “I loved the messages from the Pakistani fans. I know they love their cricket. Every time we are in the UK, these guys come in and tell us respectfully, how they love us. How they love Indian cricketers, how they love to watch some of us play in big stages. It is basically loving the sport. When someone appreciates your game like that, you just feel blessed.”

India is set to face Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup on 9th June in the newly made Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. It is a brand-new stadium and will host 8 World Cup matches.
