Shaheen Shah Afridi started the procedure and turned up by taking 2 wickets in the first over. Mohammad Amir followed him with a wicket in the next over. The Pakistan team was so dominant that at one stage, Ireland was 36/6.
But they somehow managed to get past the 100-run mark with decent innings from Joshua Little and Gareth Delany. Ireland finished their inning on 106/9, which is a respectable total considering they were struggling to even cross the 50-run mark at one point.
