Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan could appoint former Pakistan skipper Ramiz Raja as the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, reported by Geo News.
The PCB Chairman has been informed that he would not be given another term in the office, well-informed sources said, adding that Imran Khan will recommend Ramiz Raja’s name to the PCB’s governing board for the coveted post.
After meeting the Prime Minister, Ehsan Mani left without speaking to the media, sources said.
Pakistan cricket team is currently in West Indies for multi-format series. They are 1-0 down in the two-match Test series after losing the opening Test by 1 wicket.
Since 2017 Champions Trophy, the cricket in the country hasn’t achieved much and since then they are going down in every terms.
