IND vs AUS: Starting Wednesday, Ahmedabad will host the conclusion of the Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia. After winning the toss in this game, Australia’s side choose to bat. Nevertheless, Team India then mounted a comeback as first Ashwin dismissed Travis Head, then later Shami bowled Labuschagne with a potentially hazardous delivery.
Mohammad Shami made his return in the Ahmedabad Test
Mohammad Shami, a seasoned bowler for the Indian side, made his return in the Ahmedabad Test after a one-match absence. Shami’s opening spell was average; he failed to pick up a single wicket and also gave runs away. Then, in the 23rd over, he returned to bowl and as soon as he arrived, Labuschagne was taken aback. On the opening ball of the 23rd over of the game, Mohammad Shami avoided Labuschagne. Labuschagne went to take the shot with his second ball at the same moment. Shami, though, threw the ball directly into the root. The ball struck Labuschagne’s bat and went straight into the stump, surprising the batsman because the ball was moving so quickly. Kangaroos suffered their first blow as a result.
