IND vs AUS: The third One Day International (ODI) match between India and Australia is currently at a pause with both teams in the game. The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma has improved their position in the match by limiting Australia to 269 runs, with Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav taking three wickets each. However, Rohit Sharma registered an unique record on to his name as he became the 8th batter to score 10k runs in Asia across formats.

The Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, had an impressive start to the innings, scoring 30 runs off just 17 deliveries, including two fours and two sixes. Unfortunately, he was dismissed by Sean Abbott. Despite this, Rohit Sharma has joined a select group of Indian batsmen, thanks to his quick 30-run knock against Australia.
Rohit Sharma’s recent performance against Australia has earned him a new accolade. He has now joined an exclusive club of Indian cricketers, including legendary players like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, who have scored 10,000 or more runs in Asia across formats.

In his international cricket career, Rohit Sharma has played a total of 247 matches in the Asian sub-continent and has now become one of the 16 batters to have scored 10,000 or more runs in the sub-continent. Rohit has achieved this milestone by scoring 10,026 runs in the region.
In the ongoing three-match series between India and Australia, the two teams are now tied at 1-1. India won the first game but Australia won the second game by 10 wickets. The Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma, will be eager to lead his team to a victory in the third game to win the series 2-1.
