IND vs AUS: The Men in Blue skipper Rohit Sharma has notched off his 9th century in test cricket against the mighty Aussies in Nagpur. Captain Rohit scored his hundred from 171 balls. Marching off to the century, he smashed 14 fours and 2 sixes. The highly awaited Border Gavskar Trophy 2023 opener is currently underway at the VCA Stadium, Nagpur.

India was successful in bowling out the visitors Australia for 177 runs within the two sessions of first day itself. The pitch was believed to be very turning, however, Rohit Sharma and company shut that belief. With his century, Team India sucessbly breached the trail and currently leads with 1 run and five wickets in hand. With captain on the pitch after the century, a good and hefty lead is on cards for the hosts India.
Earlier, Team India resumed the second day with 77 runs on the scoreboard with the loss of one wicket. KL Rahul was dismissed on the penultimate over of first day. Debutant Murphy did magic for Aussies as he took the first four wickets in the match. In the process, he also became the first Aussie bowler to achieve the feat in 66 years. Virat Kohli was dismissed on the first ball just after thelunch with a score of 12 off 26.
