IND vs AUS: Australian opener David Warner will be disappointed by his dismissal for 56 runs, courtesy of India’s Prasidh Krishna, in the third ODI clash between the two teams in Rajkot on Wednesday, September 27.
Prasidh Krishna rattles David Warner
The left-handed batsman made an explosive beginning, reaching his fifty in a mere 33 deliveries. Nevertheless, Warner’s dismissal will be remembered for his ill-advised shot choice. In an attempt to play a creative shot, David Warner tried to deflect a well-pitched delivery from Prasidh Krishna towards the fine leg area but ended up only getting a glove on it, resulting in a catch taken by wicketkeeper KL Rahul.
India found relief in this breakthrough wicket, as it put an end to the threatening opening partnership. India has clinched the series by winning the first two matches and would be hoping to end the series with a clean sweep, by taking a victory in Rajkot today. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli & Bumrah have also returned to the squad.
