Team India sweats it all out for IND vs AUS

After a six-day break, Team India has resumed their training sessions in preparation for the 3rd Test. The likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KS Bharat, and Ravindra Jadeja were spotted training at Holkar Stadium on Sunday, as shared in a video posted by the BCCI on Monday. Kohli and Axar Patel were seen batting in the nets, while Bharat was working on his wicketkeeping drills with the fielding coach.

With a 2-0 lead in the four-match Test series, Team India needs just one more win to secure their spot in the WTC final scheduled in June this year. As seen in the video, players are sweating it all out to clean sweep the series and get a stronger chance to feature in the World Test Championship finale. However, Aussies will be looking to bounce back after embarrassing defeats in the series so far.

Indian opener KL Rahul is expected to feature in India’s playing XI for the 3rd Test, despite his poor form. Several former cricketers have called for Shubman Gill to replace him, but it appears that Team India will stick with the same lineup. Nonetheless, this could be KL’s last opportunity to regain his form in Tests as another poor performance could prompt Rohit Sharma and the management to consider giving young Gill a chance to open for the final Test.
