IND vs AUS

IND vs AUS: After being 2-0 behind in the series, Kangaroos have finally defeated Men in Blue in the third test. This victory (beating India in home conditions) came after six years since they last won in Pune in 2017. However, an incident has gone viral from the last day of the match. During the start of their chase, Ashwin was bowling against Labuschagne but what the batter did at that time, irked Rohit and umpires as well.

What did Labuschagne do?

The incident happened during the ninth over of Australia’s second innings, when they began to chase their target of 76. On the fifth ball of the over, Ashwin was about to throw the ball and was just reeling behind by two steps in his runup.

After seeing Ashwin take the first step to throw the ball, Labuschange withdrew, went off the track, and stopped in front of Ashwin, smiling. This behaviour of Labuschagne irritated Ashwin. Rohit approached the Australia hitter to engage in conversation and Umpire Wilson instantly intervened.

Earlier, Ashwin had dismissed opener Usman Khawaja just on the second ball of the innings for a duck. However, Travis Head and Marnus then continued the chase from there and handed over an easy victory of nine wickets to the team.
